Juanita R. Williams

Juanita R. Williams, age 79, of Carlisle, passed away Friday, August 5, 2016 at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA.
She was born September 14, 1935 in Itta Bena, MS to the late Albert and Elma (Fletcher) Duncan.
Juanita was a longtime member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints of Carlisle and belonged to the Women of the Moose and the Eagles BPOE, both of Carlisle. She loved to do crafts and was a huge Penn State football fan. Juanita was always helping people and greeted everyone with a smile. Her greatest joy in this life was her Lord.
She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Walker-Wilhite (and husband Randel) and Marcia Lubonski, both of Huntsville, AL; brother, Phil Owen Duncan of FL; sisters, Winsome Phyllis Duncan of Kingston, Jamaica and Veronica Duncan of Ocala, FL; grandchildren, Nicholas Alexander Isidore, Aritha Star Johnson and Juanita Marie Lubonski; and great-grandchildren Shanterriel Johnson, Jabria Star Johnson, Douglas Eugene Johnson and Nicholas Alexander Isidore, Jr. In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by sons, Le Scorpio St. Thomastine and Jason King Lewis and daughters, Sharon Lewis and Aritha Lewis.
Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday August 14, 2016 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA with Bishop Matthew Candland officiating. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. There will be a visitation from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the services.
