Joyce J. Mcclure

Joyce J. McClure, age 93, of Carlisle, passed away Monday, June 5, 2017 at the Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home, Carlisle.
She was born October 5, 1923 in Philadelphia to the late Clarence and Winifred (Jeffrey) Jenkins.
Joyce was active in the Methodist church and the United Methodist Women. She loved her cats but especially loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by: her husband of 72 years, William H. McClure of Carlisle; three children, William J. (wife Shirley) McClure of Hamburg, Christine E. Morrow of Carlisle and Daniel K. McClure of FL; six grandchildren, Jeffrey (wife Bonnie) McClure of FL, Richard (wife Michelle) McClure of Mohnton, Suzanne (husband John) Brothers of MA, Bradley McClure of Schuylkill Haven, Rebecca (husband David) Brandt of Mechanicsburg and Katie Robinson of AL; thirteen greatgrandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Cynthia Morrow and two great-grandchildren, Erin Morrow and Dillon Hayes.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Middlesex United Methodist church, 118 N. Middlesex Road, Carlisle, PA with Rev. Jan F. Hughes and Rev. Dr. Paul L. Herring co-officiating. Burial will follow at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. There will be a visitation at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
