Joyce Elaine Levin

Joyce Elaine Levin, 76, formerly of Woodbox Lane, Mechanicsburg passed away March 2, 2011 at Claremont Nursing Home, Carlisle.
Born April 6, 1934, Harrisburg, a daughter of the late Joyce (Bell) and Joseph Buck. She is predeceased by her husband, Daniel Melvin Levin, M.D.
She is a graduate of John Harris Senior High School, Lebanon Valley College, and attended Duke University, Durham, NC. Elaine had an antique paper business, Serendipity, for several years. She had a great love for all her Kerry Blue Terriers throughout the years.
She is survived by her sister, Beverly J. Hoak and her husband, Charles N. Hoak of Camp Hill, three nieces, Victoria Elaine Martin, of Orlando, FL, Leslie Jean McCool and her husband, Thomas McCool of Etters, Danielle Beth Eby and her husband, Douglas Eby of Camp Hill, her aunt Roberta Karmel of Camp Hill, her best friend, Tamara Lukens Gerhold of Duncannon.
After a short visitation, services will be held in the Chapel at Claremont Nursing Home, 1000 Claremont Road, Carlisle, at 4:00 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2011.
Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to any animal shelter or dog rescue in her name.
