Josephine W. Monismith Kauffman

Josephine W. Monismith Kauffman, 90, of Carlisle, died Monday, April 6, 2015 at the Church of God Home, Carlisle.
She was born August 2, 1924 in Dover, DE to the late Fred and Louisa Baker Willey and was the widow of Charles D. Monismith and Paul Kauffman.
Josephine worked for Piezo and Reeves Hoffman Crystal Manufacturing plants. She belonged to the Carlisle First Church of God, was a member of the Old Bellaire Chapter #375, Order of Eastern Star and was a bowler in leagues. She was known to many as Mom-Mom.
She is survived by a son, Charles D. Monismith of Salem, OR; a daughter, Charlotte L. Stum of Walnut Bottom; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 13, 2015 at Carlisle First Church of God, 705 Glendale Street, Carlisle with Rev. Michael Poe officiating. Burial will be in Letort Cemetery, There will be a viewing at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services.
