Joseph Jacob Patsy

Joseph Jacob Patsy, 66, of Carlisle died Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Manor Care Health Services, Carlisle.
Born July 1, 1948 in Carlisle, he was a son of the late Glorio J. and Edythe F. Baker Patsy.
He was a graduate of Cumberland Valley High School, Class of '66. He was a founding member of the Old Gaelic Rugby Team of Carlisle. Joe was an athlete who excelled in Rugby and Baseball playing for local teams. He worked for many local establishments in the Carlisle area. He belonged to the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 1299, Carlisle. Joe also loved to play horseshoes and darts and was skilled at trivia.
Surviving are two brothers, Glorio John Patsy, Jr. of Alpharetta, GA and Francis Allen Patsy of Sterling, VA; four nieces and nephews: Elizabeth Brand and John Pasqualone both of Georgia, Lucia Arze and Frank Pasqualone both of Virginia.
Services will be announced at a later time.
Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
Memorial contributions are to be made to the Cumberland County Historical Society, 21 North Pitt Street, Carlisle, PA 17013.
