John W. Weigle, Jr.

John W. Weigle, Jr., 63, of Carlisle, died Thursday, January 17, 2013 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
Born December 15, 1949 in Carlisle, he was a son of John W. Sr., and Betty J. Rhoads Weigle.
John worked in maintenance at the Embers Restaurant Convention Center. He was a member of the White Circle Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and NASCAR. John was a veteran of the US Army and US Army Reserves serving during Vietnam.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 42 years, Dianne Weigle; son, Troy A. Weigle; sister, Deborah Smith; and brother, Keith Weigle all of Carlisle, mother-in-law, Alice M. McKeever Stull, two sons-in-law, Paul Stull and Edward Stull. Also surviving are nieces and nephews: Krista McCullough, Carrie Skovrinski, Hannah Stull, Kevin Smith, Todd Stull, and Adrian Stull and great-nephews, Bryce Smith and Easton Smith. Also, family and friends. He was preceded in death by one son, Paul Weigle.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 21, 2013 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Timothy A. Funk officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle with full military honors conducted by the Cumberland County Honor Guard. A viewing will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday, January 20, 2013 and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
