John Bradford Miller

John Bradford Miller passed away June 20, 2021.
He is a child of God. He was born June 9, 1944 to Cecil Elwood and Caroline Vivian (Berger) Miller. He was raised a Christian in the Episcopal tradition.
He was proud to be a descendent of Governor William Bradford of Mayflower fame.
John served as a soprano in the men and boys choir at Grace Episcopal Church in Orange, NJ when he was a child. He also served as an acolyte there. He continued to enjoy singing with family and friends. He was in the Boy Scouts, attaining the rank of Star Scout, and later served as a scout leader.
He graduated from Orange High School in 1962 and then attended NJIT. John served in the United States Coast Guard as a radioman Petty Officer First Class from 1964 to 1968. He worked for IBM as a repair technician for 25 years.
John was a member of the American Legion, enjoyed woodworking and was good at fixing anything. He was a handyman to anyone in need and enjoyed using his many skills to bless others.
In 1964, John married Carol L (DeGraaff) in Broadway Baptist Church, Paterson, NJ. They had 3 children: John Bradford Jr. (passed away at the age of 17), Stephen Andrew and Caroline Grace. Stephen married Tausha Marie Fanslau. Their children are Lilyanna Dielle, Jeremiah Alton and Ruth Alexandra. Caroline married Charles Kim. Their children are Justin John, Daniel Charles, Joshua Stephen and Katelyn Grace. John was a dearly loved husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be missed by everyone whose life he blessed beyond measure.
There will be no viewing or service at this time. Arrangements will be made for a private memorial service this summer. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity in memory of John.
