Jimmie I. Miller

Jimmie I. Miller of Carlisle died Friday, June 15th at his home.
Born Dec 6, 1952 he was the son of Lois Miller and the late E. Edwin Miller.
In addition to his mother he is also survived by sister Pattie Parsons and her husband Jim and sister Peggy Bower and her husband Wes. He was a loving uncle to his nieces Jen Acuna and husband Max and son Eddie, Julie Friscia and husband Todd and recently deceased son Tony, Emily Bower and Lindsay Bower, all of Carlisle.
He graduated from Big Spring High School and attended Millersville University. An avid New York Yankees and Pittsburgh Steelers fan, he enjoyed playing and watching sports of all kinds. He also looked forward to annual vacations to the beach and other family gatherings. He was an active member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Plainfield.
A visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, June 21st, from 6-8pm at Hoffman Roth Funeral Home, 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle. A memorial service will take place on Friday, June 22nd, at 11:00 am at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 2070 Newville Road, Plainfield with Rev. Jerri Morton officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 2070 Newville Road, Plainfield, PA 17081.
