Jeri Anne Austin, 65, of Mechanicsburg passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2015.
She was born on December 8, 1949 in Atlantic City, NJ and was the daughter of the late Paul Lightman and Evelyn Richards.
Jeri received her BA in Psychology from Dickinson College and a Masters Degree in Speech Therapy from NYU. Her work included speech therapy, published author, writer and editor for Seventeen magazine and a designer and inventor of several patented products and concepts. A lifelong entrepreneur, she was founder and owner of Gottalottaheart greeting card company. Her work was her passion, her family her joy, and the shores of Margate, NJ was her favorite place to be. Of everything she created in the world, Jeri considered her two daughters her greatest works of art.
She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Austin; and her daughters, Alyssa and Valerie.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Rich Valley Golf Course, 227 Rich Valley Road, Mechanicsburg, PA at 11:30 am on Thursday, August 13, 2015.
