Jeffrey L. Paxton

Jeffrey L. Paxton, age 57, of Carlisle, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at his residence.
He was born November 23, 1959 in Carlisle to Doris (Barker) Paxton of Carlisle and the late Robert L. Paxton.
Jeff was a 1977 graduate of Carlisle High School. He worked construction jobs locally for many years with several different companies. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Jeff attended Carlisle First Church of God.
In addition to his mother, Jeff is survived by an aunt, Lois Ranck of Halifax and cousins, Paul and Brian Ranck. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gregory Carl Paxton.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA with Pastor Gregory Hench officiating. Burial will follow at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the services.
