Jeanne Schwartz

Jeanne Schwartz, 67, of Carlisle, died Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the Carolyn Croxton Slain Hospice Home, Harrisburg.
Born July 21, 1944 in Mechanicsburg, she was a daughter of the late Mark and Helen McCalister Lehmer.
She was a graduate of Columbia Pacific University with a Master’s Degree in Social Work. She worked for seventeen years as Social Services Director for the Carlisle Hospital. She also worked for Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Surviving are her partner, Nancy Nixon of Carlisle; two daughters, Kathy Smith of Carlisle and Judy Wood, Lewisberry; one brother, James Lehmer (and his wife, Sue) of Mechanicsburg; one cousin Joyce Trayer of Mechanicsburg; four grandchildren, Joe, Jenn, Neil, and Sharon; and one great-grandchild, Parker.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Slate Hill Cemetery 1352 Slate Hill Rd, Camp Hill with Rev. Daniel Menniti officiating.
Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
