Jeanne Marie Kirkpatrick

Jeanne Marie Kirkpatrick age 77 of Boiling Springs, PA passed away on February 16, 2024, surrounded by family at Carlisle Regional Medical Center.  

She was born on October 5, 1946, in Mt. Carmel, PA., to Aaron and the late Marie M. (Anuzis) Whyne.  

She was a graduate of Northumberland High School and Polyclinic Nursing School.  She was a Registered Nurse by trade.  She worked at the Polyclinic Hospital for 10 years and then at VNA of Harrisburg in home healthcare for 33 years in Dauphin, Cumberland and Perry Counties.  

She was an animal lover and especially enjoyed feeding and watching birds.  She enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, Disney, puzzles and spending time with her family.                     

She is survived by her children: Son, Donald (his wife, Kathy) Kirkpatrick of Orwigsburg, PA., Daughter, Jennifer (her husband, Scott) Duncan of Carlisle, PA., and Son, Matthew (his wife, Tyffanie) Kirkpatrick of Enola, PA., her father, Aaron Whyne (age 103), of Danville, sisters: Ann Shilo of Northumberland        Mary (her husband, Steve) Snyder of Sunbury, brother Conrad (his wife, Dianne) Whyne of Danville., grandchildren Jasmine Duncan, Gwendolyn Duncan, and Mazee Kirkpatrick, Niece Melissa Shilo and nephews Stephen and Christopher Snyder.  She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Kirkpatrick.  Her children have a half-brother, Carmen (his wife, Stephanie and their daughter Charleigh) Kirkpatrick who reside in Maine.

A Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday February 22, 2024, at St Patrick Church 85 Marsh Drive Carlisle, PA 17013. Burial will immediately follow the mass in the St. Patrick Catholic Church Cemetery.  A viewing will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM on Wednesday, February 21 at Hoffman Funeral and Cremation 2020 W Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013.  Online condolences maybe expressed at www.hoffmanfh.com   

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to The American Cancer Society in her name.
