Jaxson G. Jones

Jaxson Gray Jones, infant son of Gerald P. “Jerryâ€Â Jr. and Amanda Stover Jones, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 17, 2012, at 5:14 p.m. at Harrisburg Hospital.

“Some people only dream of angels… We held one in our arms!â€Â We all will miss you every day as long as we live. We are truly blessed. You are Jameson’s guardian angel; you truly saved your little brother’s life.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his twin brother, Jameson Ray Jones; paternal grandparents, Gerald P. and Marjorie Jones of Carlisle; paternal great-grandparents, Joyce Peffer of Carlisle and Fannie Jones of Carlisle; maternal grandparents, John C. and Sharon Stover of Carlisle; maternal great-grandparents, John L. and Julia Stover of Carlisle and Doris Dixon of Harrisburg; aunts, Jennifer Stover of Carlisle and Emily Stover of Carlisle; and uncles, Darryl Jones (and wife, Melanie) of Newville, Keith Jones (and wife, Michele) of Carlisle, Wayne Jones (and wife, Miriam) of Shippensburg, Joshua Jones (and wife, Brandi) of Newville, and Travis Jones of Carlisle; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by great-grandparents, John L. Peffer, William M. Jones and Heber Dixon; and great uncle, Steve Burtner.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in the Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
