Jason Allen Cromer, 39, of Carlisle, died Monday, December 25, 2023 at UPMC Carlisle.
Born in Carlisle, he was the son of the late Dale Lee Cromer and Tammy Lynn (Culhane Cromer) Bowen, her husband, Ken.
Jason was a person who appreciated many types of music. It spoke to his soul and he always had it playing. He also enjoyed being outdoors, laughing and joking around and spending time with family and friends.
He and all who loved him were proud of his 6 years of sobriety and all the work he put in until the end.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children: Chaya Cromer, of Marysville, Camera Bailey, of Carlisle, Hannah Cromer, of Middletown, Tyler Miller, Jasiah Cromer and Jionni Cromer, all of Carlisle; one grandson; his brother: Brant Cromer, his wife, Nicole, of Newville; his sister: Sheena Jumper, her husband, Donald, of Carlisle; his fiancé: Cheyanna Vaillancourt, of Carlisle and her two children; his grandmother: Connie Chew, of Florida; two nieces, five nephews and several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
Jason was preceded in death by his father: Dale Cromer, his paternal grandmother: Dixie Grimes, his maternal grandfather: Patrick Culhane and three maternal cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service 12:00 pm Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Hoffman Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, where the family will greet guests after 10:00 am prior to the service. Interment will follow in Letort Cemetery, Carlisle.
