Janet R. Dunkleberger, 88, of Carlisle, died Friday, October 31, 2014 in the Pinnacle West Shore Hospital, Mechanicsburg, PA.
She was born in Carlisle, PA to the late David O. and Florence E. (Kingsborough) Dunkleberger.
She had worked as the office manager of the former Andrews Furniture Store in Carlisle and retired from the billing department of Keene Trucking Co., Carlisle. She was a member of the Carlisle United Methodist Church (formerly Grace United Methodist Church) and was a Life Member of Beta Sigma Phi.
She is survived by two sisters; Mary Jane Mentzer of North Jackson, OH and Pauline D. Hollenbaugh of Carlisle and a brother, Robert D. Dunkleberger and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her parents and a brother, Benjamin R. Dunkleberger.
Funeral services will be held Wed November 5, 2014 at 11am in the Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 N. Hanover Street, Carlisle, PA. There will be a viewing Wednesday from 10am until the time of service. Officiating will be Rev. Mira Hewlett. Interment will be Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials contributions go to Carlisle United Methodist Church, 45 S. West Street, Carlisle, PA 17013.
