Jane L. Mccoy

Jane L. McCoy, age 98, of Carlisle, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at her home.
She was born July 24, 1919 in Carlisle to the late Carson and Nellie J. (McCord) Eckard and was the widow of the late James I. McCoy.
Jane was an avid bridge player. Earlier in life, she enjoyed dancing and attending and participating in dog shows throughout the region. She was a member of the Carlisle Hospital Auxiliary where her caring demeanor was shared with many and was an active member of First United Church of Christ, Carlisle. Above all, Jane cherished the time spent with her family.
She is survived by: a daughter, Barbara A. Danko (husband Dennis) of Carlisle; a son, James V. McCoy of Carlisle; grandson, Douglas A. (wife Cyndi) Danko of Potomac Falls, VA; great-grandchildren, Katie and Andrew Danko of Potomac Falls, VA; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Jane was preceded in death by four sisters, Elizabeth Robichard, Geraldine Croner, Francis Briner and Mary Over.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, October 6, 2017 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA with Rev. Rachel Schwab officiating. Burial will follow at Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the services.
