Jane Elizabeth Farber

Jane Elizabeth Farber, age 69, of Carlisle, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at her residence.
She was born on June 7, 1946 in Williamsport, PA to the late Adam and Iona Refner Adams.
Jane was an insurance agent for AAA and worked in the cafeteria at Wilson Middle School. She was a member of St. Matthews United Church of Christ where she served as Senior Activities Director and was a member of the Ladies Guild. She loved to take care of her grandchildren. Christmas was her favorite time of year. She loved to travel to the beaches of Wildwood, NJ.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Richard E. Farber of Carlisle; her children, Jenni Lind (and husband Jason) Mumper of Carlisle and Matthew Adam (and wife Kelly) Farber of Middletown; grandchildren, Adam and Aaron Mumper and Maile and Carina Farber; brothers and sisiters, Sonja Saar of Williamsport, Rita Pysher of Williamsport, Tim Adams of Waynesboro, Wendy Adams Lockcuff of Williamsport and Jill Yaple of Williamsport.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at St. Matthew's United Church of Christ, 3240 Spring Road, Carlisle Springs, PA with Rev. Timothy Dugan officiating. Burial will be at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. There will be visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 4, 2015 at the church.
