Jamie Lowell Armstrong

Jamie Lowell Armstrong, 60, of Shippensburg, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at M.S. Hershey Medical Center.
He was born August 19, 1960 in San Jose, CA. Jamie was preceded in death by his parents David Lowell Eaton, Dorothy Tipton Armstrong, and Richard Armstrong.
Jamie was a 1979 graduate of Cabot High School in Cabot, AR. He was a devoted and passionate Arkansas Razorback fan. Jamie loved making memories by spending time with his family and friends. Working most of his life as a truck driver, he made many friends and saw many places. Jamie honorably served his country in the US Army and later the PA National Guard.
He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Esther Fields Armstrong of Shippensburg; two children, Wesley Paige (wife Sabrina) Armstrong of Carlisle and Hayley Nicole (husband Zach) Shew of Waynesboro; three grandchildren, Paislee, Madison, and August Shew; four siblings, Christy (husband Richard) Whalen of California, Betty (husband Joey) Henry of Arkansas, Mary (husband Mark) Rogers of Arkansas, and Davlyn Giovanetti-Quick of California; and stepmother, Jerilyn Eaton of California. In addition to his mother and his fathers, Jamie was preceded in death by one grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013. Burial will follow at Westminster Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday both at the funeral home.
