Born, James Taylor Scroggin, on September 18, 1931, in Covington, KY.
He spent most of his early years in Romulus Michigan and graduated from high school in 1949. He married Margaret Inez Snyder in 1958. They were blessed with six living children: David, Daniel, Jonathan, Joanna, Rachel, and Robert. He received his education form Detroit Bible Institute, Indiana Technical College, Michigan State University, and the University of Cincinnati. He became the originator of the new engineering programs at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and Messiah College. James was named Dean of Engineering at Valparaiso University and the University of Bridgeport. He retired in 1996 after many years of teaching. James leaves behind his devoted wife and all of his children. He now rests in the arms of a loving Savior.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
