James Lee Martin

James L. Martin, 78 of Dillsburg, passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
He was born July 31, 1940 in Carlisle, PA the son of the late Harper Lee Martin and Kathryn Bistline Martin.
James retired from Masland’s as a Dyer. He also operated a stand with the Carlisle County Farmer’s Market. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam Conflict, and was a member of The Meeting House, Dillsburg.
James is survived by his daughter: Jaime Smoker and her husband Chris of Newville, and two grandchildren: Nikolas and Charlotte, his aunt: Vada Hockenberry of Carlisle, and many cousins, nieces and nephews, and his former wife: Vicki Manning of Carlisle.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters: Betz Wagner, Faye Wagner and baby Ruth Martin.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 31, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA 17013 with Rev. James Youtzy, officiating.
A viewing will be held from 8:00 AM until time of the service on Monday at the funeral home.
