James L. Sterner

James L. Sterner of Carlisle passed away Sunday, September 23, 2012 in Forest Park Health Center.
Jim was born March 12, 1964, in Allentown. He graduated from Cumberland Valley High School and the Thompson Institute, and was employed by Vectron International for over 20 years. Jim enjoyed sports, playing cards and spending time at camp, but mostly he liked to have fun. His quick wit and distinct laugh always brought a smile.
Jim is survived by his parents, Richard and Joanne Sterner of Mechanicsburg, his wife Kathryn, his daughter, Kaleigh of Mechanicsburg, sisters Julie Christie of State College, Laura Kirkpatnck and husband Matt of Shrewsbury, NJ, a brother Michael Sterner and wife Meredith of Mechanicsburg, his mother-in-law Sally Maurer of Mechanicsburg, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 2 pm, Sunday, September 30, 2012, at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle. Visitation will be from noon Sunday, until the time of the memorial service.
