James F. Marshall

James F. Marshall, 76, of Carlisle, went home to be with his Lord surrounded by his loving family, Saturday, October 20, 2012 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
Born April 9, 1936 in Fargo, North Dakota, he was a son of the late Frederick Alan and Fannie Mae Smith.
He was owner operator of Marshall Electric and Sharpening of Carlisle. He attended Bethel Assembly of God Church, Carlisle where he served as an usher and greeter for 21 years. He enjoyed working and Sprint Car Races. James loved helping people and he also worked for Estep Electric and United Telephone Company.
Surviving are his wife of thirty one years, Mae L. Marshall of Carlisle; two children, Kathleen Zuni of Carlisle and James L. Marshall (and wife, Jeri L.) of Shippensburg; three grandchildren, Thomas Zuni of Enola, Seth Marshall of Newville, and Kelsey Marshall of Shippensburg; and one brother, Allen W. Marshall of North Carolina. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Joseph Zuni.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 25, 2012 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Chuck Kish and Joshua Shaw officiating. Burial will be in Mount Holly Springs Cemetery, Mount Holly Springs. A viewing will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday October 24, 2012 and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
