James D. "Jim" Cullings

James D. "Jim" Cullings, 58, of Chambersburg, died Saturday, July 19, 2014 at his home.
Born December 27, 1955 in Carlisle, he was a son of the late Harry M. and Anna M. Stoops Cullings.
He was formerly employed by G. S. Electric Manufacturing in Quality Control. He was a member of the Bellaire Acres Rod and Gun Club, Clearfield County. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved hunting and fishing. He was a member of the N. R. A. He was a NASCAR fan, especially the late Dale Earnhardt. He was also an Indianapolis Colts fan.
Surviving are one son James D. Cullings II and wife, Julie and their children, Jack and Emma Cullings of Boiling Springs; one step-daughter, Michelle Varner of Shippensburg; one sister, Karen S. Cullings of New Cumberland and companion, Bruce Hensler of Gettysburg; one brother, Harry M. Cullings and wife, Yoshie of Hiroshima, Japan; one niece, Anthea Abers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Brian Cullings and one sister, Anne Cullings.
Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery.
Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
