James C. Myers

James C. Myers, 49, of Carlisle, died Thursday, February 14, 2019 at his residence in Carlisle. He was born in Carlisle, PA on January 7, 1970 to Thomas L. Myers of Carlisle and Vicki L. (Dunkleberger) Myers of New Bloomfield, PA.
Jimmy was employed at Giant Foods for over 20 years as a forklift operator at the Carlisle Distribution Center. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagle Aerie #1299, White Circle Club, Carlisle American Legion Post #23. Jimmy was an avid pool player and shot in many of the club leagues. He enjoyed NASCAR racing especially, Dale Earnhardt, Sr., #3 and Jr. #88 and the WWE wrestling and was also an avid hunter.
He is survived by his loving son, Travis L. Gsell and his wife Erica of Blountville, TN., His mother Vicki L. Myers of New Bloomfield, father Thomas L. Myers Sr., of Carlisle; four brothers, Thomas L. Myers II, of Shermans Dale, David L. Deihl of Newport, George L. Deihl II of New Bloomfield, Matthew T. Myers, and a sister Teresa L. Myers.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory 2020 West Trindle Rd. Carlisle, Pa. Officiating will be the Rev. Richard L. Reese. Interment will be in the Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle. There will be a visitation on Thursday from 9:30 AM until the time of services.
The family request contributions to help defray funeral expenses be made to the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
