James C. Galbraith

LTC (Ret.) James C. Galbraith of Carlisle died Thursday, February 6, 2014 in the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
Born a son of the late James Albert and Anna Marie Conner Galbraith.
He was a graduate of Rimersburg High School. Jim was a soldier who spent the largest part of his life serving his country in the US Army and USMC. He received two Bronze Stars for his service during Vietnam and additional military awards. James was an avid runner. Upon completion of USMC service James completed a Bachelors Degree at Clarion University prior to entering the US Army.
Surviving are his brother, John Galbraith and wife, Joyce of Fort Worth, TX and three children, Melissa, James, and Gail.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February, 10, 2014 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery.
