Jacqueline M. "Jackie" Ballew

Jacqueline M. "Jackie" Ballew, age 71, of Carlisle, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill with her loving family by her side.
She was born on July 20, 1944 in Carlisle to the late Cyrus H. and Ruth E. Wrightstone Keck and was the widow of the late Ronald E. Ballew who passed on June 6, 2003.
Jackie was a member of Middlesex United Methodist Church. She loved rock and roll music, especially Elvis Presley, and country music. Going out to eat was one of Jackie's favorite things to do, but going to fairs and carnivals was a big event to her. Family meant the most to her, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Donald K. (and wife Melissa) Ballew and Brian M. (and wife Kathy) Ballew, all of Shermans Dale; a brother, Robert E. Keck and his companion Geraldine Elliott of Newville; a sister, Viona J. Nisley of Carlisle; four grandchildren, Amanda Sheaffer, Samantha Cramer, Melanie Blazina and Ravyn Barth; and two great-grandsons. She was preceded by a son, Ronald Ballew; a brother, Richard Keck; and a sister, Donna May Gresham.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA with her Pastor, Rev. Jan F. Hughes officiating. Interment will be at Snyder's United Methodist Church Cemetery, New Bloomfield, PA. There will be a viewing on Thursday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services.
