J. Robert Lundy

J. Robert Lundy, 93, of Carlisle, died Sunday, March 13, 2011 at Chapel Pointe at Carlisle.
Born June 26, 1917 in Williamsport, he was a son of the late John and Emma Lundy.
He was the owner of Carlisle Tire. He was a Merchant Marine during WWII and belonged to Carlisle Rotary Club, the Elks BPO Lodge, 578, Carlisle and the Masons.
Surviving are his wife of 15 years, Janey Richwine Lundy of Carlisle; one son, Charles Rodger Lundy of South Port, NC; two step-sons, Tom Richwine and Tim Richwine both of Carlisle; four step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Harriet F. Ramin Lundy; three brothers, Eugene, Miles and Hap Lundy and one sister, Ruth Shipton.
Memorial services will be held at 11:30 AM Thursday, March 17, 2011 at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 West Louther Street, Carlisle with Rev. Timothy Sadler officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
