Irene J. Logan, 89, of Carlisle, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at UPMC West Shore Hospital.
She was born November 12, 1934, in France to the late Rene and Charlotte (Brukier) Poirier.
Irene was a motorcycle and motocross enthusiast. Along with her husband, she was the former owner of Logans Bultaco in Boiling Springs and they founded and owned West Shore Suzuki. Irene was also formerly employed by Quaker Oats until she retired. She enjoyed traveling across the country with her husband, especially when it was following family members motocross competitions.
Irene is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Alfred R. Logan Sr. of Carlisle; two children, Alfred R. (wife Melanie) Logan Jr. of Dillsburg and Michele Logan Toth (fiancé Matthew Davis) of Wellsville; five grandchildren, Jennifer White, Jared Logan, Jacob Logan, William Toth Jr., and Garret Toth; eight great-grandchildren; and one niece, Annie Mattesky of Carlisle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers.
Funeral services and burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
