Howard B. Rheem

Howard B. Rheem, 89, of Carlisle, died Monday, March 4, 2013 at the Church of God Home, Carlisle.
Born July 1, 1923 in Harrisburg, he was a son of the late George D. Sr. and Blanche Lightfoot Rheem.
He retired from the US Postal Service in 1972. Howard was a US Army veteran, who served during WWII.
Surviving are his son, Thomas A. Rheem of Carlisle; three brothers, Albert L. Rheem of North Carolina, Milton C. Rheem of Aliquippa, and Richard C. Rheem of Florida; two sisters, Mildred Middlesworth of Lewistown and Evelyn F. Pratt of Bradenton, FL; and his granddaughter, Donna Rae Rheem of Austin, TX. He was preceded in death by two brothers, George D. and Charles Rheem and former wife, Mary A. Rheem.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
