Hope Irma Dobson

Hope Irma Dobson, 101, of Carlisle, PA and formerly of Wakefield, RI, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at her daughter’s residence.

She was born July 19, 1918 to the late George and Bessie (Sherman) Pierce. She was the widow of Donald Dobson, Sr.

Hope enjoyed bowling, sewing, quilting, oil painting, baking and spending time with her dogs. She loved staying busy and helping the senior community into her 90’s.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Richards; grandchildren, Lori and Renee Richards, Donald, III and Stephen Dobson; daughter-in-law, Florence Dobson; niece, Roberta Dobson; four great-grandchildren; and eight great great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Donald, Jr. and grandson, James Dobson.

Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory are in charge of the arrangements.
