Holbert R. Keck

Holbert R. Keck, age 86, of Carlisle, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
He was born December 25, 1930 in Carlisle to the late Howard J. and Elenora R. (Gitt) Keck.
Holbert was formerly employed by Bedford Shoe, Carlisle Tire and Wheel, Jessie Donnely’s Garage, Columbia Minerva Yarn, Vaulk Manufacturing, Inc., Carlisle Container and Cumberland Woodcrafters. He was a car fanatic and a huge Ford fan.
He is survived by: his wife of 63 years, Vada (Barrick) Keck of Carlisle and brothers-in-law, Clyde Barrick and Donald Stitt, both of Carlisle. In addition to his parents, Holbert was preceded in death by: five sisters, Helen Wilson, Violet Nailor, Alice Lebo, Annie Richwine and Martha Orris and three brothers, Oren, Paul and Grant Keck.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA with Rev. Matthew D. Plant officiating. Burial will follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Monday, June 12, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services.
