Heston Vince Husler

Heston Vince Husler, age 62, of Mechanicsburg, passed away Monday, January 16, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born November 29, 1954 in Carlisle to the late Thared O. and Geraldine L. (Brown) Husler.
Heston attended Jefferson High School in Cedar Rapids, IA and was the owner of the former Aqua Pool Sales & Service. He was a member of the Meeting House-Carlisle where he taught Sunday school for eight years. He traveled to Nicaragua on a church mission trip to feed the children. Heston was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Aerie #1299, Carlisle. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and hiking, woodworking, playing darts, cars and traveling. His family meant everything to him but his grandson, A.J., was the light of his life.
He is survived by: his wife of 31 years, Vicky J. Munger-Husler of Mechanicsburg; his daughter, Angela D. (and husband Aaron) Johnston of Stafford, VA; two brothers, Gary B. (and wife Joan) Husler of Carlisle and Aldon (and wife Debbie) Husler of Dillsburg; a sister, Linda (and husband Robert) Etter of Newville; grandson, Aaron James Johnston; and his parents-in-law, Murl D. and Joan Munger of Carlisle. In addition to his parents, Heston was preceded in death by his son, Heston James Husler.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 20, 2017 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA with Rev. Linda Lambert officiating. There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the services.
