Helen Mae Mcginnes Heiges

Helen Mae McGinnes Heiges, 91 of Carlisle, died Tuesday December 28, 2010 in the Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle.
Born May 23, 1919 in Carlisle, the daughter of the late Wayne C. and Margaret Wetzell McGinnes and the widow of Daniel R. Heiges who died in 1995.
Mrs. Heiges was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Carlisle. She was also a member of the Auxiliary at Claremont Nursing and Rehab. and AARP, the Shamrock Club and the Grange.
Surviving are a nephew, Philip Hoffman, Carlisle, and a niece, Marjorie Park, Silver Spring, MD and numerous great nieces and nephews and numerous great-great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Vernon Hoffman, Frances Sheeley and Margaret McGinnes and a brother, Leon W. McGinnes and a nephew, Leon McGinnes.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday December 31, 2010 in the Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with the Rev. John L. Shellenberger Jr., officiating. Burial will be in the Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. There will be a viewing from 1:00 pm Friday until the time of the services in the funeral home.
