Helen Fay Divens

Helen Fay Divens, age 82, of Carlisle, passed away Friday, March 17, 2017 at the Cumberland Crossings Nursing Home, Carlisle.
She was born November 27, 1934 in Burnt Cabins, PA to the late Lewis and Ellen (Ramage) Krugh and was the widow of Berlyn Divens.
An Orbisonia Area High School graduate, Helen worked as an office worker for many years, retiring from the Piezo crystal plant in Carlisle. She was an active member at Grace United Methodist Church, Carlisle. In her spare time, she loved all manner of arts and crafts.
She is survived by: her daughters Deborah Dickey (and husband Denny) of Mechanicsburg, and Sharon Quigley (and husband Denny), of Fayetteville; her companion of 17 years Paul Ray Jones of Carlisle; as well as 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson, all of whom were loved and cherished. In addition to her parents and husband, Helen was preceded in death by sisters Blanche Glunt, and Catherine Morgan, and brother Eugene Krugh.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Carlisle United Methodist Church - 45 S. West Street Carlisle, PA - with Reverend Jim VanZandt officiating. Burial will follow at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. There will be a viewing at Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory – 2020 W. Trindle Road Carlisle, PA - on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. As well, there will be a viewing at the church from 10:00 am until the time of services on Wednesday.
