Helen Duprey

Helen G. Duprey, 92, of Carlisle, died Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Forest Park Health Center, Carlisle.
Born March 20, 1919 in Carlisle, she was a daughter of the late Leroy and Alice Irene Myers Crum and the widow of George R. Duprey.
She was employed for 24 and a half years by McCroy Electronics. Helen was a member of the Greater Grace Church of Carlisle and a former life member of the Ladies Auxiliary, VFW Post 6070, Newville.
Surviving are six children: Harry L. Laughman (and wife, Beatrice) of Carlisle, George W. Laughman (and wife, Doris) of Newville, Kathleen M. Walters of Newville, Sylvia J. Brandt of Newburg, Mary Lou Shumaker (and husband, J. Richard) of Carlisle and Harold E. Laughman (and wife, Darlene) of Carlisle; one brother, Abel Crum of Carlisle; two sisters, Regina Brewer of Newville and Esther Schlusser of Georgia; sixteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Martina Darr.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Pastor Ray Kosciolek officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Carlisle. A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
