Helen C. Warrington, age 101, wife of the late Robert W. Warrington, of Mechanicsburg, PA, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023, at Bethany Village Retirement Center. She was born October 29, 1922, in Milton, PA to the late Allen and Marguerite (Kaiser) Cromis.
Helen was a woman of God and devout member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Carlisle, PA. She was very active in church activities including bible studies. Helen retired from HACC after over 20 years working as an administrative assistant and was previously employed as a medical transcriptionist with Geisinger Medical Center. Helen was an avid bridge player, enjoyed reading, shopping, hiking, bowling, and traveling extensively oversees and throughout the United States.
She is survived by her daughter Carol A. Woods of Carlisle and grandchildren Bonnie Orwan of Harrisburg and Timothy Hoffman of Carlisle. Helen is also survived by her great grandchildren Bryan Ritter (Adrian) of Stanley, NC, and Jordyn Gray (Joseph) of Baltimore, MD and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her late parents, Helen was preceded in death by her sisters Dorothy Losch and Allene Krum.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, November 10, 2023, at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 W. Louther St., Carlisle, PA 17013. Viewing will be held at the church on Friday from 11:00 AM until service time. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Harrisburg. Everyone is invited to a time of fellowship at Living Water Community Church, 206 Oakleigh Ave, Harrisburg, PA 17111 immediately following the interment. Anyone not able to attend the burial may proceed directly to the Living Water Community Church.
