Hazel A. Kohler, 92, of Carlisle, died Sunday, August 18, 2013 at Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle.
She was born December 20, 1920 in Burlington, VT.
Hazel retired after forty-five years from C.H. Masland & Sons. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Carlisle.
Surviving are one son, John H. Kohler, Jr. of Carlisle; two daughters, Nancy J. Stine of Boiling Springs and Linda S. Crider of Shippensburg; one grandson, Andrew Crider of Shippensburg; six granddaughters, Stacey Hamilton of Boiling Springs, Tracy Witherow of Carlisle, Amy Prichard of Carlisle, Casey Rakes of Thurmont, MD, Amber Skelton of Orbisonia, and Emily Crider of Shippensburg; and eight great-grandchildren. Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Kohler; one brother, Francis Aldrich; and one sister, Marion Cushing.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. James E. VanZandt officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
