Harry “Popsâ€Â Washington, 59, of Carlisle died Saturday, April 14, 2012 at his home.
Born November 12, 1952 in Trenton, NJ, he was a son of the late Morris and Elizabeth Washington Jones.
Two of his hobbies were repairing cars and painting. He thought he was the greatest painter in the world. Harry was very outgoing and trusted everyone and didn’t have an enemy. His greatest accomplishments were his children and his grandkids. The Commissary became his new life filled with loving friends. Everyone adored him. Harry loved having a good time and enjoyed life to the fullest.
Surviving are one daughter, Loretta Palmer (and husband, Demitrius) of Georgia; two sons, Harry Washington (and wife, Virginia) and Greg Bouillot of Morrisville; two brothers, J. P. Washington of New Jersey and Eddie Washington of Carlisle; and four grandchildren, Kylah, Jnaya, Destinee and Sierra.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle.
At the family’s request, contributions may be made to the Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle, PA 17013 to assist the family with funeral expenses.
