Harry R. Sennett, Jr

Harry R. Sennett Jr., 84 of Newville, died Saturday March 9, 2013 in the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
Born May 27, 1928 in Carlisle, the son of the late Harry R. Sr. and Sarah Jane Danner Sennett and the widower of Leona E. Swartz Sennett
Harry retired from the former C.H. Masland and Sons, Carlisle after over forty years of service. He was a member of S. Fairview First Church of God. Harry enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping.
Surviving are five children, Judy Wolf and her husband Bill, Gardners, Ruth Kitner and her husband Leon, Newville, Sue Foster and her husband Harry, Kansas, Robert C. Sennett, Gardners and Donna Shoff and her husband, Denny, three brothers, Merle Sennett and her husband Phyllis, Newville, Donny Sennett, Gardners, fourteen grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 13, 2013 in the Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle, with the Rev. Harry G. Madison officiating. Burial will be in S. Fairview First Church of God Cemetery. There will be a viewing from 1:00 pm until the time of the services in the funeral home.
