Harold Wayne Fry

Harold Wayne Fry, age 84, of Carlisle, passed away Monday, August 28, 2017 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
He was born September 4, 1932 in Thompsontown to the late Eleanor Fry and was the widower of Sarah (Hench) Fry who passed January 3, 2013.
Harold retired from Schneider Trucking as a diesel mechanic. He honorably served his country and retired from the United States Navy as a Radioman Chief Petty Officer. He enjoyed vegetable gardening and deer and turkey hunting. He also enjoyed woodworking, especially building bookshelves and cabinets. He was a life member of the Boiling Springs VFW #8851.
He is survived by: two sons, Andrew (wife Jo Lyn) Fry and Dan (wife Pam) Fry; two daughters, Judy (fiancé Joe Cole) Fry and Karen Fry; a brother, Rev. Joe Kugle; three sisters, Linda Rhine, Nancy Smiley and Susan Morrow; six grandchildren, Kelly, Brandon, Benjamin, Kara, Brody and Jackson; and two-great-grandchildren, Teagan and Maya. In addition to his parents and wife, Harold was preceded in death by a brother, Samuel Kugle.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 1, 2017 at Trinity United Methodist Church, New Kingstown, PA with Rev. Eric L. Funk officiating. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. There will be a visitation at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the services.
