Harold S. Fraker

Harold S. Fraker, 88, of Carlisle, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018 in Chapel Pointe at Carlisle.
He was born March 6, 1930 in Carlisle to the late John A. and Mary Jane (Walker) Fraker.
Harold was a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America, the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing, the Jaycees and Carlisle Kiwanis. He worked for the former Arnold Motors for 33 years and was later Judge Guido's Tip Staff for 17 years. Harold was a member of Wesleyan Church of the Cross where he served as treasurer for 27 years and taught Sunday school for many years. He was a fan of NASCAR, the Washington Redskins and Penn State football. Harold formerly served as president of the Carlisle High School Band Boosters.
He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Doris A. Fraker of Carlisle; four children, Cheryl (husband Barry) Sipe, Harold S. Fraker Jr., Thomas A. (Diana) Fraker, and Ann Swartz and her fiancee Scott Stewart all of Carlisle; one sister, Doris Sipe of Carlisle; eight grandchildren, Christopher Sipe, Heather Rohrbaugh, Jennifer Swartz, Matthew Fraker, Ami Gallo, Heidi Weston, Michele Washburn, and Thomas Fraker Jr.; and thirteen great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his sister Shirley Harclerode.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 6, 2018 at Carlisle First Church of God, 705 Glendale St, Carlisle PA 17013, with Rev. Daniel Mikesell officiating. Burial will follow at Westminster Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013 and from 10:00 a.m. Monday until the time of the service at the church.
