Grace J. Yinger

Grace J. (Marks) Yinger, 54, of Carlisle, passed away peacefully, Sunday, August 26, 2012 at her home.
Born July 11, 1958 in Carlisle, she was a daughter of the late George A. and Marie J. Shultz Marks.
She was a graduate of Cumberland Valley High School, Class of 1977. She was a certified Dietary Manager for the Church of God Home, Carlisle. She worked at Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for 26 years of service. She was a volunteer for the Carlisle Summer Fair, Anything Floats Event, where she participated as judge. Also, Grace loved gardening, music, spending time with her granddaughter and trips to Ocean City, MD. She had a passion for photography. She was a member of the Williams Grove Steam Engine Association. She was also an active participant in the Relay for Life since 2005 and was a member of the Dietary Managers Association.
Surviving are her husband of 29 years, Russel Yinger of Carlisle; two children, Brandi J. Reiber (and husband, Jimmy Reiber, V) of Carlisle and Russel Yinger II of Boiling Spings; one brother, Dave Marks of Newville; three sisters, Barbara J. Shultz of Carlisle, Martha Martyn of Carlisle, and Helen Yohe of Newville and one grandchild, Breonna M. Reiber.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with James Keller officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m., until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
