Grace Elizabeth Neal

Grace Elizabeth Monismith Neal, 85, of Carlisle, died Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle.
Born December 5, 1927 in Carlisle, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Lucy Jane Cooper Monismith and the widow of John W. Neal.
Grace was employed by George’s Flowers, Carlisle for fifty years, where she was a floral designer and worked in the green houses. Grace liked to be at home. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She walked daily with her sisters who lived very close by.
Surviving are two sons, John R. Neal (and wife, Kathy) of Loysville and Gary E. Neal (and wife, Donna) of Shermans Dale; one daughter, Janet L. Dove of Carlisle; four sisters, Lillian Sheaffer (and husband, Leroy), Shirley Miller, and Sonia Hershey all of Carlisle, and Marie Deitz of Mechanicsburg; twelve grandchildren; and twenty-five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by fifteen brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
