Glen A. Woodrow, Sr., 80, of Carlisle, died Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
Born September 4, 1931 in Carlisle, he was a son of the late Raymond and Emma Durnin Woodrow.
He was a 1952 graduate of Carlisle High School. Glen worked in contract management at Penn DOT for over 24 years before he retired.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Doris Woodrow of Carlisle; five children, Judy Bailey (and husband, Earl) of Newville, Rose Cook (and husband, Faron) of Newville, Hope Rice of Carlisle, Joy Shockley (and husband, Joseph Jr.) of Newville, and Glen A. Woodrow, Jr. of Newville; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Woodrow.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 16, 2012 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Daniel R. Mikesell officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home.
