Gladys Mae Warner

Gladys Mae Warner, 86, of Carlisle, died Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at her home.
Born February 1, 1926 in Mercersburg, she was a daughter of the late Thomas N. and Carrie Ferry Sipes and the widow of J. Lloyd Warner.
She was a graduate of Carlisle High School and retired from Claremont Nursing home as a nurses aide. She was a member of the North Middleton Senior Citizens; AARP; WELCA First Lutheran Church and the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Carlisle. She liked to take bus trips.
Surviving are two sons, Donald Warner and Ed Warner both of Carlisle; one daughter, Nina Warner-Cerruti (and husband, Rick) of Apopka, FL; one sister, Jane Krewson of Newtown; one brother-in-law, Rev. Donald B. Warner of York; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jan L. Warner.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Charles A. Brophy officiating. A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
