Gladys D. Hitz

Gladys D. Hitz, 88, of Carlisle, and formerly of Hummelstown, PA, and Mesa, AZ, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Chapel Pointe in Carlisle.
She was born January 13, 1932 to the late Abner B. and Anna Mary (Deimler) Demy.
Surviving her is her son, Michael (Bobbie) Oyler; four grandchildren, Deborah (Frank) Hill, Steven (Christine) Oyler, Justin Oyler, and Joshua (Amanda) Oyler; five great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and daughter-in-law Kathy Oyler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Glenn Diehl Oyler; her second husband, Jacob W. Hitz; son, David L. (Kathy) Oyler; brother, Millard Demy; two sisters, Martha J. Fochet and Janet L. Wilson.
At Gladys’ request, there will be no funeral service or memorial service. She will be buried in the Hummelstown Cemetery at the family’s convenience.
