Gertrude Luce

Gertrude Lucille Luce, 81, of Carlisle, died Friday, December 16, 2011 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
Born January 30, 1930 in Hornell, NY, she was a daughter of the late Lyle and Dorothy Alger Woodworth.
Gertrude worked in the cafeteria in Shippensburg High School for over 25 years.
Surviving are her husband of 44 years, Gordon Luce of Carlisle; one son, Ronald Luce of Johnsonburg and two sisters, Irmma Carr and Lyla Guthrie both of Florida. She was preceded in death by her sister.
Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Lloyd T. Zimmerman officiating. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Thursday.
