Georgetta Coulson

Georgetta J. Coulson, 95, of Carlisle went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 19, 2012 at Cumberland Crossing Retirement Community, with family by her side.
She was born August 10, 1916 in Carlisle and was a daughter of the late Charles (Smoke) and Edna Trostle. In 1935 she married the love of her life, Lake A. Coulson who preceded her in death in 1983.
She was a graduate of Carlisle High School in 1934. Georgie was a member of the First United Methodist Church for 70 years and presently was attending the Middlesex United Methodist Church. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly and always placed them first. Georgie was a member of the Golden Age Club; Shamrock Club; and AARP.
Surviving are two daughters, Su Ann Knouse (and husband, Joe) of Boiling Springs and Trudy L. McKeehan (and husband, Bob) of Orlando, FL; two sons, Jack A. Coulson (and wife, Delores) of Carlisle and Lake A. Coulson (and wife, Cindy) of Carlisle; two sisters, Faye E. McCoy of Carlisle and Phyllis James of Bradenton, FL; seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Welke and Doris Jean Waugaman.
She was loved by many and will be missed by all whose lives she touched.
Georgetta requested that her family hold a private, graveside service at their convenience.
