Gary C. Nisley

Gary C. Nisley, 77 of Carlisle, died Saturday December 15, 2012 in his home.

Born February 15, 1935 in Carlisle, the son of the late Lee and Anna Marie Kessler Nisley.

Gary was a 1953 graduate of Carlisle High School. He retired from Carlisle Tire and Wheel after 40 years of service. Gary was a life member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 1299, White Circle Club and VFW Post 477, all of Carlisle. He loved to golf with his group of friends. Gary enjoyed boating, fishing and camping with family in Delaware.

Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Viona Nisley, a son, Douglas Gary Nisley, Duncannon, a daughter, Diane Henry and her husband Randy, Carlisle, a sister, Kathryn Gantz, Florida and three grandchildren, Uriah, Tressa and Tanna.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, December 19, 2012 in the Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with the Rev. Timothy Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle, with Military Honors provided by Cumberland County Honor Guard.
