Gail Annette Phillippy

Gail Annette (Werking) Phillippy, 62, of Mechanicsburg, passed away September 6, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on May 2, 1955 in Mechanicsburg, daughter of Rachael (Garrett) Werking, Dillsburg and the late Eugene Werking.
Gail was beloved by her family and friends and lived as a Child of God. She was a graduate of Northern York High School and a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church. Gail loved to travel and was especially fond of camping and the outdoors. She was a talented craft artist. During her life, she had a variety of occupations including rental car and truck sales, homemaker, sales consultant, secretary, and teacher’s aide. She adored her daughters, their significant others, and granddaughters.
Gail is survived by: her husband of 26 years, Larry G. Phillippy; daughters, Emily Morales and husband Hector and Abigail Phillippy; granddaughters, Alexis and Sadie Morales; mother, Rachael Werking; sisters, Deborah Faught and husband Glen and Brenda Bell and husband Rob. In addition to her father, Gail was preceded in death by a sister, Patrice (Werking) Middlekauf.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, 30 W Main St, New Kingstown, PA 17072 with Pastor Matthew B. Best officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the time of the service. There will be a reception to follow the services at St. Stephen.
In lieu of flowers and in memory of Gail, memorial contributions may be made to St. Stephen Lutheran Church.
